The Event: On July 19th 1986, history was made. 15,000 eager fans packed into Wembley Arena for what remains the biggest live UK hip-hop and electro event of all time. Brought to life by Morgan Khan’s Street Sounds in conjunction with Capital Radio, and hosted by pioneering DJs Mike Allen (RIP) and Dave Pearce, UK Fresh ‘86 proved that Electro was the undisputed sound of a new generation.

The Design Story: Heads will know that the iconic block-typography design style of the legendary Street Sounds Electro compilations only ran from Volumes 1 through 6 before the label shifted aesthetic direction. This exclusive anniversary tee reimagines that classic, coveted design era—imagining what Volumes 7, 8, and 9 would have looked like if they had kept the original style alive.
